This Conference is designed for health care professionals, policy makers, administrators, educators and others interested in health care reform and improving health care delivery.
The Sheraton Gunter has old-world charm. All the meeting rooms are on the first two floors, and there is an in-house bakery/coffee shop that is sure to tempt! San Antonio is charming and historic; the Alamo is a short stroll and the Riverwalk entrance is only a block away.

A poster session reception will be held on Monday evening. We invite posters from students and faculty who are involved in evaluation/research on Centering and from clinical sites outlining their Centering story or outcomes of care.

CHI's 2nd National Conference On Group Health Care
Held Sept. 21-23, 2008 Indianapolis, IN
Professionals from across the United States gathered in Indianapolis to focus on "The Power of Connection: Building Community Through Group Care". There was great energy and interaction throughout the conference, which included keynote addresses from Michael Lu, MD, MPH, and Marie Manthey MNA,FRCN, FAAN, PhD (hon) and plenary speakers including breakout sessions on a variety of topics related to group health care.
Talks and breakout sessions focussed on various models of group health care in different areas, research findings, and ways to make group care more effective.
