CenteringPregnancy
This two-day interactive workshop provides health care providers and staff with a group experience while learning about the CenteringPregnancy program of group prenatal care. The training supplies the basic information needed to begin CenteringPregnancy group care including the theoretical framework, how to facilitate groups, and system operational aspects impacted by this new model of care. Demonstration, discussion and practice opportunities with focus on site-specific needs.

The greatest assurance for the success and sustainability of a CenteringPregnancy program is when the workshop is included in a comprehensive implementation plan that provides expert support and guidance over start up and the early adopting period.

Participants receive 12 credit hours (1.2 CEUs) from the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
