Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Centering Director, Children’s Health Center, Tower Health System PA
Cyndi Dimovitz is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with her Primary Mental Health Certification and is a Breastfeeding Counselor with a focus on improving healthcare and health, preventing disease and eliminating health disparities among women and children, especially in vulnerable and underserved populations. She has been involved in Centering for over eight years and has recently become involved in a grant working with mother-infant dyads affected by maternal opioid use disorder (OUD) using the Centering model of care - the Soft Landing Program.


Jami Geist, MEd

Project Manager, Soft Landing Program, Reading Hospital PA
Jami has worked for 20 years in the areas of homelessness and substance use, running housing programs for women with children as well as people in recovery. In the past year she joined the Reading Hospital to work with pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders.


Neera Kay Goyal, MD

Physician, Division of External Primary Care, Department of Pediatrics, Nemours Children's Health, Philadelphia
Dr. Goyal is a pediatrician and clinical researcher focused on improving maternal-child health outcomes in at-risk populations. Her research expertise is in perinatal health service utilization, with a focus on outcomes for infants born preterm or of low socioeconomic status. Recently she has studied the impact of care coordination and community-based home visiting services during pregnancy and early infancy.

Vanessa Short, PhD, MPH
Assistant Professor, Maternal Addiction Treatment, Education and Research (MATER) Program, Thomas Jefferson University Philadelphia
Dr. Short is a maternal and child health epidemiologist whose current research primarily focuses on improving outcomes for mother-infant dyads affected by maternal opioid use disorder (OUD).
